Pricing
Instantly, from the course, group size band, delivery and dates. It is one flat price for the whole course, shown inclusive of 20% VAT, with nothing to pay until a verified trainer is confirmed. Unusual or 'not sure' requests are reviewed by our team rather than priced on the spot.
Per course, never per person. One price covers the whole group of up to 12, the same whether six people attend or twelve. Weekend or evening delivery, a trainer-provided venue, or long-distance travel can add to a price, but more people never does.
Commercial first aid training is standard-rated at 20% VAT. AidReady is the principal supplier, so you pay AidReady one VAT-inclusive price and we settle the verified trainer after delivery. You get one invoice.
Trainers & verification
No. HSE stopped approving first aid training providers in 2013, so no one can honestly claim to be 'HSE approved'. The duty to check a trainer's competence now falls on the employer. AidReady does that checking for you before any booking, and you remain responsible for assessing your own first-aid needs.
Three things, evidenced: a current regulated qualification for the exact course delivered, current public-liability and professional-indemnity insurance, and awarding-body evidence on file, re-checked at expiry. Expired mandatory evidence automatically blocks a trainer from being matched.
No. AidReady focuses on the everyday, high-volume, repeat-need courses: Emergency First Aid at Work, First Aid at Work (and requalification), Emergency Paediatric and Paediatric first aid, BLS/AED, and Anaphylaxis. We deliberately do not cover FREC or higher-tier pre-hospital qualifications.
Delivery
You complete the course theory online to cut time off the floor, and the practical skills and assessment are always delivered in person by a verified trainer. There is no learning-management system to administer; blended simply means the theory is done before the practical day.
UK-wide, at your own site or a trainer's venue, classroom or blended. When you request a price you tell us the location and we match a verified trainer who covers it.
Booking & payment
Only once we have confirmed a verified trainer for your date. You see the full VAT-inclusive price up front, an admin approves the match, and payment is arranged then, never before a trainer is set.
Yes. Each option we present carries its own clear cancellation and rescheduling terms, shown before you commit, so there are no surprises.
Renewals
Yes. Most first aid certificates last three years. AidReady records expiry dates and reminds you before they lapse, so cover never quietly runs out. We remind you; keeping your organisation compliant remains your responsibility.
